About Springwood, Copnor

Springwood Preschool is privately owned, set in the grounds of a local church hall.

Springwood is licensed to hold 45 children at one time, children’s ages range from 2 – 5 years. The setting its self is divided into two rooms, which cater to different age groups and both provide cubby-holes and interesting natural materials for children to investigate and explore. Children are free to make a mess in our large creating station with support from our friendly team of qualified staff.

Springwood’s team provide fun, challenging experiences in a structured environment. Children take part in small ground activities each session. We provide fun soft play, climbing frames, balls and target practice with a musical instrument and more.

Our outside space provides room for children to run, climb, jump or dig in our large garden. Sheltered from the sun and rain children have the opportunity to play outside in all weathers.

Springwood is supported by The Department for Education to guide children’s learning by The Early Foundation Stage – EYFS. This is early years national curriculum. We encourage our parents to support their children’s learning at home as well as at preschool by building strong positive relationships with our families and providing home learning packs full of resources to take home.

The setting supports children with learning difficulties and/or disabilities and children who speak English as an additional language. Please visit our Local offer tab to view what support we offer each session.
